We are looking for a Personal Assistant to work as part of a team, providing all aspects of Personal Care for two young disabled adults. Experience in this line of work will be an advantage but is by no means necessary as you will have full instruction given. Initial placement will be temporary for up to 10 hours per week, working shifts with another experienced carer from approx. 9-11am, 3.30-4.30pm & 8-10pm on a daily basis. Obviously only working some shifts, which will be negotiable) This will bring our team back to five so there may be an additional need to cover holidays etc. A well suited applicant will have good possibilities of making the position longer and permanent. A clean driving licence will help as you will be required to be punctual. Location: READING Town Centre. This is not a simple job of making cups of tea and having a chat and this is reflected by better rates of pay than agencies are offering for similar.
